About7 – Heaven Designs…      As I approach retirement it has become important that I spend more time with my family.  My children are grown, my grandchildren act even more grown; I find myself not being able to have a 3-minute conversation without getting interrupted by a text message, tweet or email on an I-phone, I-pad or some other device they call smart.  I swear it is enough to make a church going baby boomer scream! Inspired by the constant negative news, young men with their pants at their knees and young ladies disrespectingthemselves and being degraded throughout all social mediums, regarding my family; I decided I was going to fix them apples (pun intended)… so I began hosting a mandatory family dinner every two weeks at my house afterChurch on Sundays.  After several months in which we sat at the dinner table together, played board games, enjoyed movies together and most importantly; cleaned up their mess, - inevitably we always end our evenings in a debate of whether our worldhas become less safe and more perverted.  Some feel it has always been this bad; the internet and 24-hour negative news cycles are now available thus invading our daily lives.  Others like my husband and I believe people have become more selfish and less respectful of their fellow human beings thus making the world and the evil acts more prevalent andworse.  As you may be able to tell, it hasn’t been resolved; the debate rages on.  Nevertheless, we began discussing our rolein making the world a better place and the idea of creating a blessing blanket, coveted by the word of GOD to provide asense of security and comfortin the darkest of times while asleep was born.  As evident by our colorful prints, our blessing blankets are inspired by the love and joy.  Beginning in the garage of our family home, we believe life is to be celebrated.  We aspire to spread the word of GOD and the message of love into one of the fastest growing direct to consumer multichannel merchandising companies.  Our company will be built on a simple philosophy of providing customers with unique and appealing merchandise for an exceptional value.
